A young woman was killed and her body burnt in Akhaura, Brahmanbaria. Farhan Bhuiyan Roni, son of Jubo League leader Shahnawaz Bhuiyan, has been arrested by police in connection with the incident. Locals saw smoke rising from an abandoned room in his house and went there to find the burnt body. Police said most of the body was burnt to ashes and the head was not found.
