Today is March 5, the birth anniversary of Rosa Luxemburg

Today is March 5, the birth anniversary of Rosa Luxemburg. Rosa Luxemburg was a renowned German socialist revolutionary, Marxist theorist, and women's rights activist. She was born in Poland, and from her childhood, her deep concern for society became apparent. After studying economics and political science at the University of Zurich, she joined the socialist movement. Luxemburg fiercely criticized capitalism, stating that capitalism would inevitably fall into crisis one day and pose a danger to society.

She believed that socialism could only be established through a revolutionary struggle. She fought throughout her life for women's rights and freedom, highlighting the oppression of women under the capitalist system. Her writings and speeches paved the way for socialist thought, political freedom, and true human emancipation. She was vocal against war and stood against nationalist forces during World War I.

She was killed during the Spartacist uprising in Germany in 1919, but her thoughts and struggles remain a milestone in the revolutionary movement today.
