Ensuring employment for the country's citizens is one of the state's main responsibilities. However, the Bangladesh government has failed to create job opportunities inside the country on one hand, and on the other hand, it is unable to assist in employment opportunities abroad. In protest of this, a section of the nearly 18,000 workers who could not go to Malaysia blocked the road in the capital's Karwan Bazar today.
